Terms of Use

Using KeyMiles
KeyMiles helps you keep a mileage log. By using the app you agree to these terms and to Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement, which also applies.
Not tax advice
Deduction amounts shown in KeyMiles are estimates based on the IRS standard mileage rate in effect on each trip's date. They are not tax, legal or accounting advice. You are responsible for your tax filings and for checking that your log is complete and accurate. Talk to a qualified tax professional about your situation.
Accuracy
KeyMiles works hard to measure trips accurately, but GPS and phone sensors can be imperfect, and trips can be missed (for example, if location access is off or your phone is off). Review your trips and add any that were missed.
Subscriptions
KeyMiles is offered as an auto-renewing subscription (monthly or yearly), billed through your Apple Account. A free trial may be offered for new subscribers. Subscriptions renew automatically unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, in Settings › Apple Account › Subscriptions. Founding Member pricing stays the same for as long as your subscription continues without a break. Refunds are handled by Apple. If your subscription ends, automatic tracking pauses, but you can still view and export the trips you've saved.
Your data
Your trips are yours. See our Privacy Policy for how they're stored and protected. Keep your Recovery Key safe: we can't recover encrypted backups without it.
Acceptable use
Don't misuse the app or our services, try to access other people's data, or use KeyMiles to break the law.
Disclaimers and limits
KeyMiles is provided "as is." To the fullest extent allowed by law, we aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for tax penalties or disallowed deductions, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for KeyMiles in the 12 months before the claim.
Changes and contact
We may update these terms and will update the date above when we do. These terms are governed by the laws of Guam. Questions: support@getkeymiles.com.
